Tangled

This wasn't meant to come out looking like a squid, or any type of animal. But it did, so we can go with that.

Just playing with some simple mixed media on my spare time. I really love mixing gouache paint with sharpie. Gouache somehow works much better for me than acrylic paint, but I'm still playing around with acrylic in hopes of learning its secrets to not looking horrible.

In other news, I will be moving out of my dorm in a month. Among the many purchases I want to make if I ever have any money are a bed (#1) sheets that fit proposed bed (#2) and then an easel. I bought a few large canvas' with Christmas money that I haven't been able to use because of the small space that I have (I really should post a photo of the ridiculous "studio" space I have here). So I'm very excited to be able to paint larger than 8 1/2 by 11 again.
